Founder Bio
Jessica is the founder and creative force behind Rough Seas Productions. With a background in marine biology and coastal ecology, she brings a scientist’s curiosity and a naturalist’s reverence to her work as an herbalist and gardener. Her journey began in a community garden, sparked by a simple question: How can the earth nourish my body? That curiosity soon led her to explore the healing potential of herbs—not just for wellness, but with a desire to create teas and remedies that actually taste good.
What began as handcrafted blends for friends and family grew into a full-spectrum business rooted in the belief that nature offers everything we need to thrive. Jessica’s interdisciplinary expertise informs her holistic approach, blending scientific knowledge with the intuitive wisdom of plant medicine.
