SCORE Client of the Year: Positioned for Growth, Natural Foods
Rough Seas Productions Organic Herbal Teas is honored to be named a 2026 SCORE Client of the Year for the DC, Maryland, and Virginia region in the Client Positioned for Growth – Natural Foods category, selected from approximately 3,500 small businesses in the program.
SCORE is a national nonprofit that supports small businesses through mentorship, education, and resources, helping entrepreneurs grow with guidance and community.
Since joining SCORE in 2024, we’ve grown threefold while staying rooted in our garden-grown herbal tea craft. In that time, we’ve taught 75+ tea blending workshops, hosted 30+ tea parties, participated in 30+ markets, sold 800+ units of tea and accessories, and expanded into 6 local DMV establishments.
We are deeply grateful to Nicole Ford for her mentorship, encouragement, and support throughout this journey.
As we celebrate this milestone, we are also expanding into Nevada while continuing to grow our presence in the DMV. Our garden is thriving, our partnerships are expanding, and we’re excited for what’s ahead.
